Plan roll widths and lengths around installation
The standard width options are 7.5 and 8.0 m. Roll lengths are customisable so the order can reflect panel layout, seam locations, site access, lifting limits and freight. For other width requirements, ask Kontain to confirm a suitable manufacturing route.
Welding rod with matching resin and PolyLock-type concrete embedment profiles can be supplied. Confirm rod diameter, profile geometry, penetrations and the installation details before ordering.
Higher SCR, durability and surface options
Where the application needs more than the standard smooth black grade, Kontain can source enhanced stress-crack resistance and stabiliser packages against agreed requirements. Set the required test values and obtain evidence for the offered formulation.
White or coloured surfaces, conductive constructions and textured HDPE require their own variant data or specification. The smooth black Rev C values must not be transferred to those products without verification.
Select the complete HDPE lining system
Review chemistry, operating temperature, exposed or covered service, ground movement, slope interfaces and construction loads. Protection geotextiles, drainage layers, anchors, ballasting, penetrations and field seams all contribute to the installed system.
Kontain can prepare the agreed liner design inputs and drawings, coordinate material supply and organise installation quotations. Independent production-line sampling and testing through TRI in China can also be arranged at additional cost, with scope and timing agreed before manufacture.
Practical questions
Is Spec Liner a high-SCR grade?
The standard smooth black Rev C specification requires SP-NCTL stress-crack resistance of at least 500 hours. Enhanced grades can be sourced to a separately agreed requirement supported by evidence for the exact formulation.
Does the TDS certify every supplied roll?
The TDS states the product specification. The ordered material is supported by its production-lot certification, MQC reports and roll register. Independent testing applies to the sampled material and tests performed.
What warranty is available for an HDPE liner?
Available warranty terms are confirmed for the selected grade, application, exposure and agreed supply scope. Request the proposed terms with the material quotation; installation workmanship cover is addressed separately where installation is quoted.
