Study of the Ultraviolet Effect and Thermal Analysis on Polypropylene Nonwoven Geotextile
Original research · free full-paper access · authors credited
Research overview
Laboratory UV exposure is assessed using mechanical, physical and thermoanalytical tests on a polypropylene nonwoven. Changes in stiffness and thermal response illustrate why tensile strength alone may not describe weathering damage. Includes electricity asset-owner participation by Furnas and ANEEL research funding.
