Research overview

Compares one reinforced and one unreinforced outdoor reduced-scale clay slope using moisture and suction monitoring. The reinforced model retained more water across the reliable suction range and showed smaller median rainfall responses, but the unreplicated setup and absence of mechanical measurements do not establish improved slope stability. The SCS Engineers co-author is an environmental engineering consultant, not a product-supplier author.
