Local Stiffness Assessment of Geogrid-Stabilized Unbound Aggregates in a Large-Scale Testbed
Original research · free full-paper access · authors credited
Research overview
Large-scale testbed measurements found a local stiffness increase of up to 16.2% near the tested geogrid and an influence zone of about 15–25 cm above it. The result is tied to the tested aggregate, aperture sizes and laboratory conditions; it is not a universal pavement-design factor.
