Landfill Cap Models under Simulated Climate Change Precipitation: Assessing Long-Term Infiltration Using the HELP Model

Research overview

Uses one year of large laboratory-cap data to parameterise 50-year HELP simulations under normal and climate-change precipitation. The GCL-containing model reduced simulated infiltration, while degraded clay conductivity drove large increases; long-term results remain conditional on the calibration period and model assumptions.
