Research overview

Calibrates HELP water-balance simulations against 2008–2015 runoff, drainage and leachate observations for a temporary mineral cap in northern Germany. The strong site calibration supports that application, but the authors limit transfer to the studied soils, geometry and climate. Research funding included the landfill asset owner ZMD Rastorf.
