Original research · free full-paper access · authors credited
Research overview
Compares physical, tensile, stress-cracking and thermal behaviour of HDPE geomembranes exhumed after 2.75 years in a sewage aeration pond and 5.17 years in a landfill leachate pond. Two materials and exposure histories cannot establish general service life for other resins, stabilisers or sites.
