Effect of Construction Sequence on the Performance of Geotextile Tubes in a Containment Bund

Original research · free full-paper access · authors credited

Research overview

A scaled field test of three side-by-side geotextile tubes found that installing the centre tube after the edge tubes reduced its dewatering rate and delayed strength development in cement-mixed soil. The arrangement, fill and scale are specific; Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Geoharbour coordinated and carried out the field tests but are not paper authors.
