Australian basis
This is an Australian-market product TDS. Confirm the final factory, current revision, roll mass and order-specific certificate rather than substituting a family-level BENTOMAT value.
GCL TECHNICAL DATATECHNICAL DATA SHEET · AUSTRALIAN FORMAT
Australian scrim-reinforced double-nonwoven GCL
A reinforced Australian-market GCL with sodium bentonite between a scrim-reinforced nonwoven carrier and a nonwoven cap, needlepunched for internal reinforcement.
The strongest general Australian starting point in the supplied CETCO data where 4.00 kg/m² minimum dry bentonite, dimensional stability and 600 N/m minimum peel are useful.

PUBLISHED PERFORMANCE

* Published typical peak value after hydration at approximately 9.6 kPa normal stress; not a minimum design envelope. † Published RESISTEX U20 ST maximum in deionised water and 0.02 M CaCl₂. Current factory certificates and project specifications govern.
DESIGN TRANSPARENCY
A compliant index value does not remove project-specific hydraulic, stability or installation risk.
This is an Australian-market product TDS. Confirm the final factory, current revision, roll mass and order-specific certificate rather than substituting a family-level BENTOMAT value.
The double-nonwoven construction is intended to support interface friction and dimensional stability, but no catalogue angle replaces ASTM D5321 testing with the actual adjoining materials.
The TDS identifies yearly bentonite and geotextile durability testing. Request the current results with the project evidence pack.
Use the CETCO installation guide and project details for product orientation, overlaps, granular bentonite, cover and hydration controls.
SUPPLY + CUSTOMISATION
Approximately 209 m² gross and 200 m² effective after standard overlaps. Confirm current factory dimensions, mass and origin for every order.
A budgeting assumption only. Final payload and pack plan require CETCO confirmation. Full production and freight lots generally support the strongest landed rate.
Alternative reinforcement and RESISTEX formulations can be evaluated where slope demand, adjoining interfaces or site liquid require a different configuration.
