The supplied product is laminated to a discrete 0.20 mm smooth PE membrane. It should not be described as polymer coated.
GCL TECHNICAL DATATECHNICAL DATA SHEET · AUSTRALIAN FORMAT
0.20 mm smooth PE-membrane-laminated GBR-C
A reinforced sodium-bentonite GCL laminated to a flexible 0.20 mm smooth polyethylene membrane for fresh-water ponds and liquid-containment applications.
A smooth integral-laminate pathway where the project veneer is demonstrated as stable. It is a laminated product, not a polymer coating and not a field-welded geomembrane.

DESIGN TRANSPARENCY
A compliant index value does not remove project-specific hydraulic, stability or installation risk.
The supplied product is laminated to a discrete 0.20 mm smooth PE membrane. It should not be described as polymer coated.
The CETCO design guide reports indicative soil-interface values for smooth CL geofilm. Confirm the actual critical interface at project normal stress, hydration and displacement; use CLT100 as a textured screening pathway where required.
The CETCO guide reports large-scale overlapped CL seam testing and a 0.036 mm/day adopted design flux under stated assumptions. Field performance remains dependent on overlap continuity, bentonite enhancement, confinement and installation quality.
The supplied CL/CLT guide is for fresh-water ponds. Agree a project-specific chemistry and hydraulic evidence programme for saline, mining, waste or industrial liquids.
The integral PE laminate lowers baseline flow but does not make the overlapped installation equivalent to a field-welded geomembrane.
SUPPLY + CUSTOMISATION
Approximately 209 m² gross and 200 m² effective after standard overlaps. Confirm current factory dimensions, mass and origin for every order.
A budgeting assumption only. Final payload and pack plan require CETCO confirmation. Full production and freight lots generally support the strongest landed rate.
Alternative reinforcement and RESISTEX formulations can be evaluated where slope demand, adjoining interfaces or site liquid require a different configuration.
